Ways You Can Help

A lot of people have been asking how they can help National Dialogue South Sudan succeed — bring peace and all the things that come with it: democratic elections, roads, infrastructure, jobs, and more.

The National Dialogue is not a government body and it’s not an NGO: it’s a 100% volunteer effort coordinated by the National Dialogue organizing bodies. It’s supported by donors like Japan, the United Nations Development Agency, and others, but more support is needed to ensure its success.

1. Become a Donor. Please help ensure that every citizen of South Sudan knows about the National Dialogue and has the opportunity to join it by making a financial contribution.

Donors can provide financial support through the United Nations Development Agency of South Sudan, designating their donations to the National Dialogue. For more information, please contact us directly.

2. Provide In-kind Donations. At its core, the National Dialogue is a series of consultation events that create a dialogue between all factions of South Sudan society. Any equipment that makes it easier to host and record those events is greatly appreciated.

Examples of useful in-kind donations are:

  • Video cameras
  • Event space
  • Event equipment
  • Advertising

Contact us to discuss in-kind donations you have in mind.

3. Volunteer to Coordinate Events. Because the National Dialogue seeks the broadest possible participation, its goal is to conduct over 100 official consultation forum events. The National Dialogue is specifically interested in volunteers who can help coordinate and manage events like this. It’s a big commitment to host and coordinate an event — let us know if you are up to the challenge.

South Sudanese who live abroad in countries like the UK, Australia, the United States and Canada, are specifically encouraged to Help National Dialogue South Sudan by volunteering their time and passion towards broadening the reach of the National Dialogue to countries they live in.

Let us know if you can volunteer!
